The people of South Sudan are depleted. In 2018, 7 million people are expected to need aid as war is making food and basic services less available. The health system must be strengthened to help local communities grapple with the extreme problems they will face.

It was with great shock that Doctors with Africa CUAMM received the news of the demise of our own staff Brenda Achiro on Saturday morning of 26th May 2018. Brenda died on spot in a fatal accident which claimed 22 lives and left 15 others with serious injuries.
CUAMM has taken part to the first strategic meeting of a new project to strengthen the health system in the Lango Region, northern Uganda.
