Following two recent attacks, it is fundamental to guarantee protection for aid workers and civilians in Ethiopia, to bring help to the people in need.

In 2020, in the midst of the lockdown, Doctors with Africa CUAMM went to visit patients at their homes to make sure they did not stop treatment: 85% of treatments were successfully completed, and the dropout rate was down to 11%. A vaccination program is clearly imperative there as well: not only is it the right thing to do, it will also help ensure everyone’s wellbeing, as it is the only way to put an end to the spread of this virus and its variants.
Gazebos, stretchers and screens have been delivered today by Doctors with Africa Cuamm thanks to the U.S. Government. They will help to reorganize the flow of patients who access the hospital. The donation is funded by USAID through the “Italian Response to Covid-19” project.
