CUAMM is the Italian acronym for University College for Aspiring Missionary Doctors, the former name of our organization at the time of its founding in 1950.
The aim of the college was to recruit and train medical students from Italy and other countries to serve as volunteers in developing countries, and to help raise awareness in Italy about issues of global development and health.
Today, the college still hosts about seventy university students of diverse disciplines. They share CUAMM purpose and they are required to have good educational backgrounds.
