CARING FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE IN LA SPEZIA

The commitment of Doctors with Africa Cuamm thanks to the U.S. Government. Today Pierluigi Peracchini, mayor of La Spezia, and the bishop of the city mgr. Luigi Ernesto Palletti visited the spaces of “Gruppo di Volontariato Vincenziano San Giovanni Bosco”, where Doctors with Africa CUAMM renewed the showers and people in need can find support during the Covid-19 epidemic. Since July 2020, 370 homeless people have had access to hygiene services and more than 24,800 meals and 2,600 food kits were distributed.
