On World AIDS Day, Doctors with Africa Cuamm, together with local communities, continues its efforts to fight the stigma and tackle an epidemic which in 2022 was dramatic, especially in Africa.

Chronic diseases: what is the situation in Mozambique? What are Cuamm's main fronts of commitment, in partnership with the World Diabetes Foundation? What are the challenges? These were the focus of the meeting that took place yesterday in Padua to take stock of the situation and plan future interventions.
"The sense of solidarity is lived where life calls us, where history questions us". A year after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, CUAMM continues to bring help with a broad logistic and healthcare intervention that is now extended to 9 Oblasts and 42 healthcare facilities. Here are some numbers of the commitment: 4 ambulances donated, 1 mobile clinic, 60 heated tents, over 2,200 food kits delivered and 6,500 displaced people assisted for a total of 1.8 million euro of aid granted.
As the project ended, satisfactory results were collected in the formal and informal settlements in Apulia, where basic medical care, new services and training activities were provided.
It reached its final destination the humanitarian aid cargo donated to Cuamm by the Italian Agency for cooperation and development (AICS). It is a 9 tons cargo containing basic goods to support affected population in coping with the freezing winter ahead.

15 novembre 2022 - I left by my own to later find out that I was part of a team. I decided to go to Chisinau because I wanted to play my part in this situation of deep suffering for many and therefore contribute to the emergency response by offering my medical experience. Hence, I joined Cuamm.

September 22th 2022- Efforts are constantly tho silently made in the two centres where Cuamm works in Moldavia and Chisinau, namely MoldExpo where mainly Ukranians are host and Testemitanu, where the majority are the Romani.
