The intervention in support of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in the Kolfe Keranyo district of the Ethiopian capital is concluded. Dialogue and the trust relationship with the community have been crucial to the success of the project.

In Apulia, for several years, the Bari group of Doctors with Africa Cuamm has been offering basic assistance and care to farmworkers. An intervention that has grown more and more, becoming increasingly structured.

After the Covid-19 crisis we hoped we could breathe a sigh of relief, but war and energy speculation are putting a strain on us. Everyone is making small and big sacrifices. But even if it is difficult for us, it is even more to Africa. There, this situation has dramatic effects because populations are already very poor: there is neither a welfare system, nor any kind of social parachute.
Thanks to Gilead Sciences' Community Award Program 2022, a new project on sexually transmitted diseases addressed to migrants and homeless people is at the start. A new challenge for the local Cuamm group.
