Tomorrow, April 12th, CUAMM is organizing an event that will be focused on presenting good practices in international cooperation and on the results that Doctors with Africa CUAMM has achieved in the field.
Doctors with Africa CUAMM has taken part to the international conference WHO Global Dialogue on Partnerships for Sustainable Financing of Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Prevention and Control, held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Doctors with Africa CUAMM is one of the 53 NGOs reaching the final at “Saving Lives at Birth: A Grand Challenge for Development”, a yearly event where NGOs and international charities can present their innovative and sustainable approaches to improve mother-and-child health globally.
On March 23 at the UN headquarter in New York, during the 61st United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, a conference will be held organized by Doctors with Africa CUAMM in partnership with Italy and Canada’s permanent missions to the United Nations. Among the events is a special talk by Zainab Hawa Bangura, representative of the UN Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, TB programmes rarely include NCD screening, but a project in Angola is proving it can be done with great success.
