Strengthening health systems through professional training

Training is at the core of our vision of development. Training local healthcare workers means building lasting skills, strengthening health systems, and enabling each country to become increasingly autonomous in ensuring quality care for its population.

Investing in skills

Doctors with Africa CUAMM invests continuously in training through university courses, specialist programs, technical updates, and on-the-job learning. Every day, CUAMM doctors and professionals work side by side with African colleagues in hospitals, districts, and universities, in a constant exchange of skills and knowledge.

WHAT WE DO

Our commitment to training operates at multiple levels, from clinical practice to health service management. In particular, we:

In 2024, training activities involved 4,876 healthcare workers and led to the graduation of 206 professionals, including 44 new doctors who graduated from the University of Beira in Mozambique. Investing in training means creating a future in which access to healthcare is both sustainable and widely available, thanks to well-prepared and motivated local professionals.
