ON THE FRONT LINE
For over fifteen years, through the “Mothers and Children First” programme, Doctors with Africa CUAMM has been working to make childbirth safer, ensure skilled care during emergencies, and support maternal and child health—from the village to the hospital.
In the field
We work in hospitals, within communities, through training programmes and in the response to major epidemics. Maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health remains an urgent healthcare priority in sub-Saharan African countries and is among the primary health goals identified in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
