    While a diagnosis is not a life sentence and living with diabetes today is possible, access to care and the ability to manage a chronic illness remain enormous challenges in the contexts where we work. On World Diabetes Day, we want to reaffirm the importance of prevention and continuity of care, and remind everyone that health is a right for all.

    Tigray CUAMM Renovates Suhul Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

    Today, Suhul Hospital looks very different: a modern, fully equipped neonatal intensive care unit ensures life-saving treatment for premature and critically ill newborns. The refurbished spaces were inaugurated last week in an official ceremony attended by local authorities, partners, UN agencies representatives and hospital staff members.

    Mozambique Turns Pink for Women’s Health

    “Protecting women is protecting the future: screen today, save lives tomorrow!” Pink October in Mozambique was a day of awareness, education, and care dedicated to promoting early screening, breaking stigma, and celebrating the strength and resilience of women navigating the oncology care pathway. CUAMM teams joined the campaign in Beira and Quelimane.
