WORK WITH US

Non-health Professionals

“The goal is that of utilising at best the resources available, which are always very few compared to the great needs. It is a challenge, but I enjoy it because then I see the results of my work.” Francesca Gritti, Administrative Coordinator in Ethiopia.

Doctors with Africa Cuamm is not only looking for health personnel: to “do well” it is not enough to do, it is essential to ensure a correct and transparent implementation of projects, without neglecting the logistical and organisational component. In this context:

  • Administrators and logisticians work behind the scenes to enable an effective intervention which is also adequate to the context.
  • Project managers ensure that projects are well managed, while community development experts represent the link with local communities.

Working in close collaboration with the project managers, the administrators ensure a correct and transparent management of projects, in compliance with local and international regulations; usually the international administrator also has the role of supervising and coordinating national administrative and accounting staff. For administrators that wish to have a long-term commitment in the field of international cooperation, there is the possibility of professional growth within the Organisation, covering roles of greater complexity and responsibility as they gain experience: from project administrator to area administrator to country administrative coordinator.
