It aims to celebrate and acknowledge the strength, determination, and innovation of women refugees and their advocates, fostering a culture of empowerment, empathy, and understanding. Aligned with COP28\u2019s theme of \u201cClimate Action for a Resilient Future\u201d this award highlights the relationship between climate change, refugee empowerment, and sustainability. <strong>Doctors with Africa CUAMM<\/strong> is glad to partner with <strong>UNHCR, UniRef, DIHAD and The Amahoro Coalition<\/strong> to promote the award, which is part of the Sheikha Fatima Fund for Women Refugee Support and Empowerment Initiative (SFFWR).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>The initiative comprises three main awards:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doctorswithafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/Voices-for-Hope-Brochure-EN-4.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #d05c43\"><strong>Category A: Women Refugees<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doctorswithafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/Voices-for-Hope-Brochure-EN-5.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #d05c43\"><strong>Category B: Women Working with NGOs<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/doctorswithafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/Voices-for-Hope-Brochure-EN-6.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #d05c43\"><strong>Category C: Empowering Through Innovation<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>Award Objectives:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing a platform for expression and advocacy for women affected by climate change.<\/li>\n<li>Celebrating the roles of women refugees and NGO workers in climate action and humanitarian responses.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging the sharing of experiences to build a supportive community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The winner of each category will be awarded with both <strong>cash prizes<\/strong>, <strong>scholarships<\/strong>, and possibilities for <strong>mentorship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions should be made to <strong>media@thecoalitionafrica.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for submission<\/strong>: May 4th, 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><a class=\"dona big cta\" href=\"https:\/\/doctorswithafrica.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/Voices-for-Hope-Brochure-EN.pdf\">Download the full program<\/a><\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Promoted by Sheikha Fatima Fund for Women Refugee Support and Empowerment Initiative (SFFWR) the award is dedicated to empowering women refugees and women working with NGOs.
